Wow.. Time flies. It is now week 11 out of the 12 weeks the university is practicing now. In a few more days, I will be in Sydney for a total of 3 months. 3 months passed, and I do achieve something. Try a lot of new things, but want to try lots more.. Haha..
After next 2 weeks, exam will start. As always, exam = study. The only thing I hope for extra this time is that I will be able to study and play at the same time, but don't get a disappointed result in the end. LOL. Is this possible?
Ok. This post is a bit short and empty. Haha. Let's wait for a better topic next time. Cheers.

New Day... New Haircut...
Today is a brand new day... For the first time, I go for my 'own' haircut, as this is the first time I have my own say on what I want to cut. This is the intermediate stage before I finally get the style I want for a long time already. LOL. Nothing much to say for this post, just some photos.
Have a great week ahead, everyone!!!

An Exciting Day!!!, Part 2
Hehe.. Today, I start my day as normal, never expecting anything special. Physics lab, my first lesson. Don't know why, my passion towards Physics diminished day after day. LOL. Today, my usual lab partner came late, suddenly, someone approached me and wishes to join me for this lab session. I agree, of course. Although this may seems nothing to other people, but this is actually the very first time I work through something with a local Australian. An opportunity I have waited so long. We work through the exercise together, although we didn't get full marks in the end, but I do enjoy the time when we do the lab together. *My Manglish suddenly disappear when I talk with him, something I hope I can do all the time, LOL.* That experience further convince me that Australians are friendly, but I just have to take the first step in order to start a friendship.
The term "no worries" is a very common term for Australian. Instead of saying "you're welcome", or "it's ok", or "no problem", the Australian uses that term. Finally, today, I manage to say the words spontaneously without hesitation. Really can't wait to learn more Aussie slang!
Time passes by, time for my MAPLE (Mathematics in Computer) Test. Wow, not bad at all. Happy.. Then, time for a little drink using the voucher I got. This is my first time to really drink a glass of beer. Half way through, my face already turn red (indicating my alcohol tolerance is quite low, LOL). Then, once reach back, I get a sweet nap. Oh ya, before this, I get a chance to play snooker for the first time, wow, not easy at all, albeit it seems easy from the television.

The day continues, as it right now, I am still in happy mood, all the jobs for the week has been settled. Enjoying..
Cheers!
An Exciting Day!!!, Part 1
Today is a very exciting day for me. I never feel so happy before. Several things happen. First thing first, today is my first real experience with local Australian after so many days in Sydney. As I have said before, my position here in Sydney since my arrival does not really encourage myself to mix with the locals. I stayed in Malaysia Hall, of course will mix with Malaysian. Then, in university, due to some kind of special arrangement by the computer (which I don't know why), I end up with a big group of Malaysian in my Engineering Design Group.
Wow, a long story I can write about this Engineering group. But, simply put, I do wish initially that I will be assigned to a group of strangers, so I can get the courage to make more new friends, rather than a group of familiar face. However, throughout the process, I become comfortable that I don't have to struggle through the make new friends’process. (A bad sign for me, cause I will lose the motivation soon.) Anyway, things turn out to be fine until now, though I won't know what will happen if I get a group of locals.
Then, we have this computing project, which again I team up with Malaysian again. LOL. This is view as the best option, as again, I am too comfortable in my comfort zone to even move my legs. So, again, I let go the chance to mix with other people.
The story continues, everyday, I restart my life, then end my life without much different.
Till today...

Life goes on...
Hi everyone, life down under here in Sydney for me is becoming a routine already. No worries on that. However, I am not sure maybe due to my continuous exposure to Malaysian or in more general Asian community, I feel like as I still stay in Malaysia but I am not sweating.. LOL.. There are times I wonder should I be brave and try to blend in with the locals, but it seems to be challenging to me. It is comfortable to stay in the small social circle I currently have now, but I wonder what difference does it make compare to study in Malaysia if I choose to be like that.
Recently, this issue sort of gets forgotten by me as exams and assignments pile up on me. I barely have time to take a good rest. In fact, the last rest I have was during Easter Holiday, which was more than 1 month from now. I really need a rest. Despite my effort to try to balance study and play, I don't think I make it. I afraid I am slowly fall back to my old self who 'enjoy' studying. Sigh.. But still, I wish things will get better next week. Who knows what will happen tomorrow? Haha..
As a student, I know my priority is to study. Study, study and study. Now I realise what is so different when study in university compared to high school. In uni, apart from being more independent, one will have to understand what the lecturer delivers on the spot. Else, one will either doze off or just lost in the lectures. I have experienced all these, it is not easy, but I hope I will get through it.
Back to the social topic, deep down in my heart, I hope I will be able to find a new place to stay next semester, so that I get a chance to build new friendships, learn new cultures, rather than confined myself in the Malaysian community. This is not the time to stick myself with the Malaysian community, but to explore Australia. Wish me luck.. That's all for now. Let's pray for a better tomorrow!
