Today is the final day for semester 2, which is also the final day of my first year in university. Rather than happy, as holiday is not far away, I spent my afternoon shopping for groceries for the next 2 weeks, where exam is gonna be held and in the end, spark a mixture of different feelings.
While on the bus, I thought of a lot of things. Now, first year is over, what had I achieved? I really hope I had learn some new skills that I do not know before. Yes, in a way I did. How about other things, like social skills? Have I become more sociable? For the past 8 months, I spent a lot of time in my room, rather than go out and have fun or play with friends. Why? Maybe my network is too small, now I can only put my hope in second year to make a change.
Well, people say first year is like a transition from high school to university life. There are lots of uncertainty out there, so we must be brave in facing these changes. Also, first year is the easiest year in university, therefore, one must make good use of the time in first year to try out different new things, especially for people like me, who come to a foreign country to study. Have I achieve that? Partially, maybe.
Of course, the next thing is time to say goodbye to friends. This feeling is different, last time, we can easily meet our friends as we all live in the same country, same city, even same residential area. This time around, my friends are from all over the world. During holiday, we won't be able to see each other for quite a long time. This then of course, will be a change too, as now I can go back and meet my old friends. :-)
Ok. Don't want to write too long. About time to cook dinner. Wish me luck in the exam. See ya!

Updates....
Hello everyone..
It's been a long time since I last update my blog. Not because I have nothing to write, but LAZY. Sometimes I have the urge to write it down, but in the end I just watch series instead. Haha...
Anyway, lately I had been greatly exposed to world of television dramas. From Hong Kong, Taiwan, China and of course USA. There are just lots of things out there waiting for me to go explore. *series*. Lol.. Ok, enough of those.
My main point is after 7 months in Australia, have I change? Am I a better person now? Can I face the future in a better way now? Well, honestly, I don't know. Lately, I found myself in a position where I appreciate friends at an unprecedented level. Never in my life I have the feelings that friends are that important. They are there for you to complain, share happiness and strive through university life together. I count myself lucky to get 2 good friends. Haha.. And this sounds a bit deja vu to me, as from small, my good friends will always make up to 2 person. Then, 三人行,必有我师也。Haha, joking only. But then, I guess this happens because I have been away from family too long. I miss them home. This is life, I guess. I wanted to be independent so much before this, so I must live with it.
Ok, about university life. This semester is indeed not easy. Lots of new stuffs and assignments. The honeymoon is over, what I have learned before this during pre-U is no longer here. Now, I need to start everything from scratch. Hopefully I can make it. Life just get harder next year. I must prepare myself to be a successful engineer.
Maybe I am too lucky all along. I don't know what is failure. This makes me scared of failure. I am afraid of failure, I scare I cannot stand up again if I fall. This sometimes create huge mental pressure on me, as I need to make sure my actions are correct and will not result me in failure. How? I don't think this is the way I should face reality. I must train myself to be able to accept failure and start all over again from failure. Slowly, revolution takes time. Haha.
Now what? Oh ya.. I have see many people during this few months. As normal, my favourites is to observe people. I love to be an observant. See their actions, listen to their talks, observe their behaviour, and then make preliminary judgement on that person. There are so many people out there, all with different kind of characteristic. Each different person require a different technique to deal with them. I am not sure, but I am trying to learn to communicate with people. Communication between people is not just talking and chatting, it is much more than that. How do you deal with their behaviour, how to deal with their way of thinking, even the skills of talking is important. I think sometimes I am too confident with myself which is not good, not just to me, but to people around me too. I should always remind myself that I am not perfect, I have flaws just like anyone else, I must accept that I can be wrong. However, again, easier to be said than done. Slowly, take my time, one day I shall succeed.
Ok, lots of stuffs up there, not in order, randomly written down. Haha.. Just a few thought from me over this few months. Will update more soon, as exam comes close, human can be more complicated. Haha.. Till then..
